Indeed I have. A year and two months, thus far.

[Well, thankfully that meant Franz hadn't seen the...Midnight broadcasts some time ago. Or at least no one would make mention of that in a first time conversation, would they?]

I've heard of you, as well...I believe you know a Mister Walter Dornez, correct? He said he worked for the Lion's Gate, some time ago.

Right, we still keep in touch. He's a good kid. You're living together, right? Did you get through the bad weather safely?

[He didn't wish to be rude by asking him if he was Doctor Yumeno's beau...That would've been even more terribly awkward.]

Indeed. He lives with me at the manor, along with my Professor and several other recent additions to our quaint household.

We managed well enough. Thank you for the concern. The manor is old and sturdy, I think. The renovations we did helped to fortify it, at the very least.

But, ah you work for the Lion's Gate for Mister Creed, do you not?

I am Monsieur Creed's personal assistant, yes. However, I am more focused on the NPP than the paperwork and scheduling at Lion's Gate. In fact I am looking for a replacement to help him with the latter, so I can devote myself more fully to the party.

You've a high-minded goal in the realm of politics then.

Perhaps. Back in Paris, I was a Baron and studying to become a diplomat. If these skills can be of use to the newcomers here, it's my duty to use them.
